(TA 2928 – FO 3) Hobbit of the Shire, son of Flambard Took and great-grandson of Gerontius, the Old Took. He was a guest at the Farewell Party, where he was given an umbrella by Bilbo Baggins. Himself he had five children, Reginard, Everard and 3 unnamed children. His name comes from the Teutonic word meaning “resolute” or “courageous”.
